Description
Indications:
Cough, cold, coryza, nasal catarrh, pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, adjunct to pneumonia.
Benefits:
Possesses immuno-modulatory property.
Increases the motion frequency of cilia to promote mucillary clearance.
Reduces inflammation and soothes the respiratory tract.
Enhances alveolar ventilation by preventing vasoconstriction.
Liquefies and expectorates the mucous.
Usage:
Calf & Buffalo: 25-30g
Horse & Mule: 20-25g
Sheep & Goat: 10-15g
The dose should be given thrice daily for 2-3 days.
In acute conditions, 5g of Camphor may be added per 100g of Catcough to enhance its effect by synergistic action.
